Volunteer
These are projects that could be done with volunteer help. Some of these may require skilled labor, but all them are things we’d like to get done but lack the manpower or budget right now.
Urgent/Soon

- Haul junk off from around ball fields
- Pressure wash brick walls and main sign base
- Pressure wash sidewalks
- Pressure wash exterior walls of main building
- Create flower beds around gym entrance
- Clean up and refresh flower beds at front entrance
- Thorough cleaning of bleachers in gym

DONATE/BUY
These are major projects or purchases we’d like to be able to do at some point that would greatly enhance our environment, add significant resources, or ensure the continued care and upkeep of the property. There’s a great range of costs, so browse the list to see what all is available.Â
Gifts can be made to the school and designated to go toward these projects. Designated gifts will be placed into a separate fund and left alone until all the funds for that project have been acquired.

Direct box to connect guitar and keyboard into MPR sound system for optimal sound, quality, and control. At least two are needed for worship arts band.
High-quality, professional-grade wired microphones for worship band singers. Two needed.
Buys a steel, rolling, lockable cabinet to store the STEM kits and materials that we recently were able to acquire. Becomes a mobile STEM locker that can be used by different classes and taken from room to room.
Buys 1 high-quality wireless microphone needed for chapel / worship arts team. At least 2 of these are needed.
We are in need of updating one of the office computers. This is for the purchase a new, upgraded Windows systems.
Self-contained professional-grade portable sound system with bluetooth, wireless, battery/AC dual power. Used outdoors on soccer field, Color Run, field days, See You At the Pole, and more.
Helps acquire a good conference table and 8 good chairs for new conference room space we will be setting up in the summer
New serving line hot table for MPR cafeteria that includes shelf for siding trays and plastic shield cover
Helps acquire an additional digital keyboard/piano for the worship arts team that can be left in the MPR. Right now, the students carry the piano back and forth from the music build each week.
New, durable tumbling mats for use in gym by cheerleaders/PE classes
Replaces 4' chain link fence at playground entrance with 6-7' steel security fence.
Cost of materials for custom-built new trophy case in the gym lobby with lots of space for current and future athletic trophies!
New permanent theatrical lighting system in MPR to enhance drama productions, speaking events, and chapel worship environment
Professional grade floor scrubber for daily/weekly use in hallways and classrooms. To speed up mopping and help reduce annual custodial expenses.
Construct permanent extension onto stage area in MPR with apron, lower deck, and side access steps for theater, chapel, and assemblies.
Upgrades to gym sound system with better speakers optimized for athletic facility.
Approximate cost of replace 1 HVAC unit in our building. We have over 20 of these that are all nearly 20 years old! Expected lifespan is about 10 years. We will start having to replace these.
Adding safety rails to all bleachers in the gym
Last major element in Warrior Gym renovation. This is to install solid vinyl stall dividers in all gym bathrooms.
6-compartment 3' wide steel school lockers for junior/senior high. Cost approx $1200 per 6-door unit. We need at least 12.
Replaces carpet and tile in office/admin area with durable, attractive, and low-maintenance luxury vinyl planking. Covers labor and materials.
We are grateful for the two school vehicles we have. We'd like to acquire an additional newer 15 passenger that does not require a CDL to operate.
Long-term / major projects
Parking lot is in need of patching, repair, and new surfacing and resealing.
Baseball field is in need of grading, draining, and surface upgrading in order to be playable. Dugouts and backstop need renovation, as well.
Our existing bleachers were used and much older when they were acquired from Brookland High School nearly 20 years ago.
Additional building spaces for classrooms, athletics, performing arts, offices
We would someday like to have a full soccer/football field with a track enclosure and stadium seating
Faulty construction on the Warrior gym roof has caused an ongoing water leak over the last 18 years that affects the basketball court. Roof needs full replacement or major repairs.
